She was predeceased by: her spouse Belanger Brown Sr.; her parents, Vernon Deleary and Gladys Deleary; her grandson Ronald; and her siblings, Ether, Frank, Therman, Phillip, Leslie, Ronald, Donald, David, Richard, Cecil, James, Clifford and Sandra Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Belanger Brown Jr. (Jana), Tara Brown, Julie Brown (Roberta) and Gloria Brown-Doxtator (John); her grandchildren, Kanatahe'le (Elissa), Edwin, Gregory (Jesse Renee), Damon (Maddison), Sierra, Orianna (Evan), Trynity, Daxtyn, Gloria Jr., Jakoby-Jak and TyKariss; her great grandchildren, Beau Zaius and Makoa; and her sisters, Rosemary, Sherry, Karen and Katherine. She is also survived by many nieces, nephew and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Verna's Home (2155 Ball Park Rd, Southwold, ON N0L0A8). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the River Road Longhouse (1035 River Rd, Southwold, ON N0L2G0). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Longhouse # 1 Cemetery.
