Eric Devaere Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eric Devaere (Southwold, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 21, 2025 at the age of 62. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eric Devaere to pay them a last tribute.

As Eric departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Eric may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Eric leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his father Walter Devaere; and his sister Maria. He is survived by: his mother Flora Devaere (Willems); his siblings, Godlief (Paul), Kelly (Lynne) and Doris; and his sons, Jared and Adam.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lawrence Station Hall (12344 William St, Southwold, ON N0L2G0).

A donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Sarnia & District Humane Society would be appreciated by the family, in lieu of flowers.
