He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Anne and Mary Anne; and his siblings, Yvette Martin, Gaston and Edward.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Rancourt; his son Jeremy Rancourt (Krista Eckhardt); and his siblings, Margaret Buller, Victor and Maurice. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass for Yvon Rancourt will be held at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Port Elgin at a later date when it is safe to do so because of Covid.
