We bid farewell to Taylor Soutar (Southampton, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 4, 2025 at the age of 33. Taylor touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her grandmothers, Judith Bessey and Jacqueline Soutar; and her uncle James Cook. She is survived by: her children, AJ Barker and Brooklyn Barker; her parents, Donna Bessey and James Soutar; her sister Brittany Soutar; her grandparents, Linda (Harry Lieder), Wayne Bessey, Sharon Gray (Don) and Jette Soutar; her aunts and uncles, Kim Bessey, Lisa (Stephen McGreevy), Carla (Grant Enman), Darren (Laurie Bessey), Jennifer (Shawn Gilbert), Connie Smith Cook, Richard Soutar and Michael (Irene Soutar); her cousins, Christina, Madison, McKenzie, Brady, Justin, Bree-Anna, Lawrence, Jennifer, Rebecca, Sarah, Marcus, Chrystal, Cassondra, Shawna and Melissa; and her friends, Stephanie and Saleena.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Eagleson Funeral Home (234 Palmerston St, Southampton, ON N0H 2L0). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In honor of Taylor's memory, donations to support the future of her children can be made on Saturday at Eagleson Funeral Home or by etransfer to [email protected]. Contributions to mental health and addiction services would also be greatly appreciated.
