He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry and Nellie; his sister Florence Currie; and his stepbrothers, Jack, Doug and Bill Bell.

He is survived by: his close friend Janice Eno; his sons, Mike of Port Elgin and Shane of Castlegar, B. C.; his stepdaughters, Jeannie, Pam, Charlene and Trudy Eno; his siblings, Mary Jean (Jaydee McMillan) and Jim McCulloch; his pet Boots; his uncle Dave; and also, Donna, Adeline and Suzanne. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
