He was predeceased by: his parents, George Chapman and Frances Chapman; and also, Tom and Mildred McCarrel. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Chapman; his siblings, Wayne Chapman (Myra), Kim (Wayne Ferguson) and Steve Chapman; his nieces and nephews, Tracey, Jennifer, Peter, Mallory, Mark, Aspen and Connor; and his sisters-in-law, Marian Ransome and Joan (Earl Nieforth).

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation.
