Sandra Vehkala Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Vehkala of South Porcupine, Ontario, who passed away on May 13, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Allen and William Allen; and her sisters, Barbara Allen and June Savard (late Pat). She is survived by: her husband John; her sons, Andrew (Stacey) of Sudbury and Mark Vehkala; her sister Marlene Fera (late George); her siblings-in-law, Salme Nelson (late Ron) and Matti Vehkala (Gail); and her nieces and nephews, George Fera (Sherry), William Fera (Sue), Paul Savard (Cynthia), Eric Nelson (Nancy), Susan Nelson, Aaron Vehkala (Courtney) and Krissy Leinala (Tommi).

In Sandra's memory, donations can be made to the Special Olympics or the Northeast Cancer Centre, Sudbury.
