He was predeceased by: his sibling Lou DeVries (Tammy); and his parents, Ina DeVries and Dirk DeVries. He is survived by: his close friend Gail Mosher; his siblings, Betty Palmer (late Mike) and Ron DeVries (Bonnie); his nieces, Alisa, Pam, Louise, Stephanie and Melanie; and his nephew John.
