It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard William McLaren (South Mountain, Ontario), born in Mountain, Ontario, who passed away on February 20, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel McLaren (Simzer) and Wilfred McLaren; and his daughter Kimberly Ann McLaren. He is survived by: his close friend Eva Francoeur; his brother Ken McLaren (Elaine); and his sisters-in-law, Mary, Alice, Carmel and Stella. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Leonard requested donations be made to the Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental Health, in support of the care they provided his granddaughter Maggie Martin.
