He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Connell and Freda Connell; his great-nephew Connel Craig; and his brother-in-law Donald Thorpe. He is survived by: his sister Donna Thorpe; his nieces and nephews, Kelly Lightle (Greg) and Sherry Craig (Jeff); and his great-niece Katie Craig.
