He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Wiecher "Bill" Hoeksema (Jeannie); his spouse Annechien "Ann"; and his children, Margaret Mans (Andy), Warren (Mary Ann), Diane Spoelstra (Bob), Hans, Annette Visser (Clarence), Karen VanWeerden (Peter), Arnold (Karen), Irene and Marian Blokker (John). He was also cherished by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Smithville Canadian Reformed Church (330 Station St, Smithville, ON L0R2A0). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 9:45 AM at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (700 Chapel Hill Rd, Stoney Creek, ON L8J0B5). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Smithville Canadian Reformed Church (330 Station St, Smithville, ON L0R2A0). A reception was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
