He was predeceased by: his father John Calvert; his stepfather Wayne Collins; his cousins, Greg Dietz and Matt Huber; his uncle Garry Dietz; his godmother Harriet Culbert; and his uncle Gerry Huber.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Megan Gibson (Corey) and Eric Calvert (Emily); his mother Phyllis Collins; his siblings, Donna Mast (Joe), Jennifer Moseley (Robby), Wayne Collins (Natalie) and Josh Collins (Shannon); his mother-in-law Janis Hunter; his siblings-in-law, Karen Mans (Larry), Kelly Jarvis, Kristiann Starr (Jeremy) and Kyle Hunter (Heather); his friends, Huron and Bruce; and also, Holley, Robert and Tanner Gibson. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
