He was predeceased by: his siblings, Yiorgos, Panagiota, Constantinos and Eleni. He is survived by: his wife Magdalini Gkiokas; his children, Rose, Sam Vergiris, Tony and Rozalia Gkiokas; his grandsons, Alex and John Peter; and his sister Anastasia.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Merritt Funeral Home (287 Station St, Smithville, ON L0R2A0). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A procession will be held on Thursday, November 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church (585 Niagara St, St. Catharines, ON L2M3P6).
