It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Orval Packham (Smithville, Ontario), who passed away on August 19, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gordon Orval Packham to pay them a last tribute.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Muriel (Tice); and his children, Gerald (Linda), JoAnne (late John), Murray (Joanne) and Eleanor (Cedric). He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
Visitation for friends and family will be held at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Monday, August 23 from 4:00 – 8:00 p. m., masks and social distancing required. Due to current Covid restrictions, a private funeral service will be held with interment at Merritts United Church.
If desired, memorial donations to Merritts United Church would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
