She was predeceased by: her husband John Haining; and her sister-in-law Sandra Huber. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Haining (Wilma) of Caistor Centre, Gary Haining (Sophia) of Smithville and Joanne Hine (Kevin) of Wellandport; her grandchildren, Melissa, Tyler (Jenna), Kaitlyn (Bailey), Mike (Sonya), Kristina (Steven), Jonathan (Natasha), Christopher, Dylan (Daphne) and Nickolas; her great grandchildren, Myla, Ella, Carter, Keegan, Ciara, Brody, Liam, Lia and Bradley; her siblings, Larry Huber and Doris Thomson (Don); and her sister-in-law Isabella Haining.

Donations in honour of Donna, may be made to Caistor Centre Free Methodist Church and can be made through the funeral home.
