He was predeceased by: his sister Elaine Franks (late Basil); his siblings-in-law, Dora Jones (Bill), Sophie Edwards (late Al) and Nicholas Semenuk (Patricia); his parents, Stewart Joyner and Violet Joyner of Smithville; and his parents-in-law, Daniel and Lena Semenuk (Turners Corners) of Thorold.
He is survived by: his wife Julia; his sons, Douglas Joyner (Barb), Andrew Joyner (Amy) and Steven Joyner (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Kalena (Jamie), Stewart (Maddison), Nathan (Faith), Rebecca, Alexander, Dante, Halaina and Lorenzo; his great grandchild Stewart Henry; his siblings, Marilyn Misener (late Horace), Leona Mark (late Alfred), Ron Joyner, Audrey Felker (Joe), Verna McCutchen (late Jim), Owen Joyner (Verlie), Lionel Joyner (Victoria), Earl Joyner (Patricia) and Daryl Joyner (Janet); his siblings-in-law, Theresa Lenson (late Earl), Mary Lou Kostecky (late Tony), Lillian Petkovich (Peter), Victoria Joyner (Lionel), Bernice Hall (William), Peter Semenuk (Ann), George Semenuk (Bonnie), Debra Tomarin, Daniel Semenuk (Julie) and Edward Semenuk (Monique); his godsons, Daryl Hodge, Joshua Semenuk and Dustin Cass; and his caregivers, Shania, Barb and Paul. He is also survived by Uncle.
Due to current Covid restrictions, visitation is required to be by booked appointment.
Memorial donations to St. Luke's Anglican Church, Smithville would be greatly appreciated by the family.
