He was predeceased by: his wife Iris Himmelman (Wood); his parents, Wallace Himmelman and Georgina Himmelman; his daughter Dianne Manchester (Lyle); his grandson Adam Taylor; and his siblings, Davey Himmelman (Leola) and Marjorie Dunnigan (late Harold).

He is survived by: his daughters, Carolyn Taylor (Barry Hall), Amy Himmelman (Wayne Hewitt), Jane O'Connor (Grant) and Susan Taylor (William Chilton); his grandchildren, Joshua Kelford, Richard Kelford, Vernon Taylor, David Taylor, Edward Stewart (Jenna), Jeffrey Stewart, Christopher Taylor, Hailey O'Connor (Andrew), Douglas O'Connor, Rachel Taylor (Brian), Lindsay Dickson (Kris), Shawn Taylor (Katrina) and Wyatt Chilton; his great grandchildren, William Kelford, Mason Stewart, Casey Stewart, Easton Taylor, Carley Smith, Landon Smith, Natalie Taylor and Mitchell Taylor; and his siblings, Elizabeth Burns (late William), Sharron Robson (late William), Robert (late Ann Marie Himmelman), Oriole Jones (late Robert Jones) and Frederick (late Debra Himmelman). He is also survived by his extended family, nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends.
