He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Winegarden and Nancy Winegarden. He is survived by: his spouse Lorie Hopkins; his children, Paul Winegarden (Kayla Roblee), Ryan Hopkins (Lianne) and Stephen Hopkins (Mckenzie Jackson); his grandchildren, Olivia, Brooklyn, Emma Lee, Colby, Connor, Madilyn, Trinity, Kaitlyn and Liam; his siblings, Gord Winegarden and Leeann Whatley (late Gary); and his nieces and nephews, Robin Whatley (Billy Hamilton), Mason Hamilton (Emma), Amber, Autumn and Noah Whatley. He is also survived by his extended family and many friends.

Due to Covid-19, physical distancing between members not from the same household and the wearing of masks inside the funeral home by everyone is required.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
