He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Magill and Noreen Magill; and his siblings, Noreen Smith (Baxter), Jack Magill and June Shaw (Wally).

He is survived by: his wife Doris Magill; his children, Gerry (Carole) and Nicholas; his grandchildren, Terryn and Johnathon; and his great grandchildren, Cole, Emily and Logan.

Due to current Covid-19 restrictions a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
