She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gallipeau and Isabel Gallipeau; her brother Bill Gallipeau (Louise); and her brother-in-law John Harper. She is survived by: her husband Bill Harper; her children, Stacey Harper (Alex Horvath) and Christopher Harper (Kandice); her grandchildren, Maddison and Ayva-Claire; her siblings, George Gallipeau (Freida), June McNeely (Ron), Ruth Turner (Dave) and Donna Laming (Rick); her mother-in-law Fran Harper (Bob); and her brothers-in-law, Jim Harper (Debbie) and Donald Harper (Kathy). She is also survived by her many friends and neighbours and co-workers.

In memory of Penny, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lanark Animal Welfare Society.
