Peggy Burns Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Burns (Smiths Falls, Ontario), who passed away on January 26, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Burns; her grandchild Courtney Gibbs; her parents, John Moran and Mary Moran; and her siblings, Mamie Cunningham and Jim Moran.
She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Gibbs (Steve), Robert Burns and Debbie Bristow (Jeff); her grandchildren, Matthew (Jennifer), Jacob (Ashley), Paige Foster (Naj), Logan (Darian), Hailey Burns, Taylor Bristow (Katie) and Kayla McCallum (Bryce); and her great grandchildren, Allyson, Brooklyn, Brady, Ariella and Amara. She is also survived by her many extended family, and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Francis de Sales Church (17 Elmsley St N, Smiths Falls, ON K7A2G6). A reception will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Hanley Hall (30 McGill St N, Smiths Falls, ON K7A2J4).
If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Francis de Sales Building Fund.
