She was predeceased by: her husband Ross Robert Cassell; her children, David Cassell (Joan) and Sheila Verhoeven; and her parents, William Palmer and Jemima Palmer.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Easton (Robert), Patrecia Hobbs (late Grant) and Judith Salmon (late Ron); her brother Walter Palmer; and her brother-in-law Hudson Cassell. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
