It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Michael Joseph Quigley (Smiths Falls, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 81, on February 16, 2025. He was predeceased by: his significant other Ann; his parents, Lorne and Mary (McGlade); and his siblings, Dorothy Tarczynski, Lorette Clune and John Quigley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Katie (Bob) and Beth (Karim); his grandchildren, Fiona, Alexander, John and Mary; his pet Lily; his sister Helen Audia (Sam); and his siblings-in-law, Wynn Turner, Marianne Rutherford and Doug Nobes. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Blair & Son - Smiths Falls Chapel (112 Beckwith St N, Smiths Falls, ON K7A2C2). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Francis de Sales Church (17 Elmsley St N, Smiths Falls, ON K7A2G6). A reception will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hanley Hall (30 McGill St N, Smiths Falls, ON K7A2J4).
