She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Joynt and Lera Joynt. She is survived by: her siblings, John (Mary) and Marsha Sheppard (Steve); her nephew William Joynt (Teresa); and her nieces, Lisa Cross, Susan Joynt, Jessie Harrold (Dylan) and Katie Sheppard (Trevor Gascoyne). She is also survived by 8 great nieces and nephews and 4 great-great nieces and nephews as well as numerous cousins.
