He was predeceased by: his siblings, Douglas, Donald, Allan James, Wilma Linton, Eileen Strika, Betty Wright and Linda Echlin.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Rose; his sons, Gregory James (Louise), Steven James (Susan) and Daniel James; his grandchildren, Mark (Aleana), Amy, Shawn, Joseph, Cory, Curtis (Alyssa), Jessica (Joe), Cody and Josh James; his sisters, Lorna Thompson (Roland), Evelyn Bennett (late Mike) and Barbara Horner; and his sister-in-law Ruth James. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Blair & Son - Smiths Falls Chapel (112 Beckwith St N, Smiths Falls, ON K7A2C2). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Pine Grove Cemetery.
