He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Bessie Wood; and his siblings, Acil, Merlyn Salter and Lois Tudor. He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Salter (Julie) and James Salter (Lisa Grahame); his grandchildren, Emily, Samantha of Smiths Falls, Brea and Rory of Lethbridge, Alberta.; and his siblings, Jean Giff and Mary Cass. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
