She was predeceased by: her spouse Jan Schokking; and her siblings, Erna (Briede), Rose (Kunst) and Eugene Briede. She is survived by: her children, Ian (Debbie), Mark Ponoka (Joanne), Alberta and Karen of Smiths Falls; her grandchildren, Ted, Willem, Ava, Asha, Matthew (Samatha), Melissa (Chad), Kally (Steve), Samantha (Onno) and Taylor; and her great grandchildren, Jazlyn, Jaxen (Melissa), Lilly, Nova and Eden (Samantha).
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Blair & Son - Smiths Falls Chapel (112 Beckwith St N, Smiths Falls, ON K7A2C2). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Francis de Sales Church (17 Elmsley St N, Smiths Falls, ON K7A2G6). A burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at the Maple Vale Cemetery (320 Brockville St, Smiths Falls, ON K7A4S5).
