He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon and Chrystina; his son Paul; his siblings, William and Donna (Norman); his former wife Paulie; and his sister-in-law Martha Milne (Marion Lillycrop).
He is survived by: his wife Alice Black; his children, John (Bernadette) and Julie; his grandchildren, Dylan (Megan), Keillor (Melissa) and Jillian (Stian); his great grandchildren, Kylie and Lilly; his stepchildren, Rendell, Jane (late Carl), Rob and David (late Shannon); his stepgrandchildren, Christine (Vinod), Carolyn (Abe), Hilary, Turner (Janelle) and Richard; his sisters-in-law, Marlene Black and Lorraine Fournier; and also, Simi, Sachin, Dot Haislet (Dick) and Rendell (Sharon).
Their care of Jim prior to, during and post-covid was exceptional.
