She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Carey; her parents, Bill South and Gertrude South; and her siblings, Frank South, Jean Vandusen (late Gerry), Muriel Barill (late Bill) and Anna White.

She is survived by: her son Stephen DeLisle (Barb); her stepchildren, John Vandusen (Heather) and Ann Siebel (Ralf); her grandchildren, Jessica Fentiman (Justin) and Adam DeLisle (Melanie); her sister Mary Splane (Dave); and her siblings-in-law, Eva Dryden (Bob) and Bill White. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
