Gloria Jean Bennett Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria Jean Bennett (Smiths Falls, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Purdy and Margaret Purdy; her husband Walter Acklin Bennett; her siblings, James "Jimmy" Purdy, Ilene Brooks (late Jerry) and Francis Purdy; and her siblings-in-law, Marion and Russell Burchill.

She is survived by: her children, Jean Bennett (Frank) and Eric Bennett (Kim); her grandchildren, Julianna, Julian, Micheal and Erica Bennett; her siblings, Shirley Moore (Raymond) and Carl Purdy; her siblings-in-law, Ken Bennett (Joan), Clarence Bennett (Lois) and Joanna Purdy; and her friend Carole Baumhower.

In lieu of flowers, donations towards the cost of funeral arrangements would be greatly appreciated.
