He was predeceased by: his daughter Diana Bennett; and his siblings, Helen, Dot, Ron, Donald, Kay, Shirley, Amy, Jean, Ethel and Beverley.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Fielding; his sons, Dennis, Don (Penny) and Danny (Kimberley); and his siblings, Ken (late Lois) and Sandra (late Stanley). He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be held in honour of George, and those wishing to make memorial donations may do so to the Canadian Cancer Society.
