He was predeceased by: his parents, June Calgey and William Calgey. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Tiffany Calgey (Mark Fenton) and William Calgey (Amanda Atsma); his great grandchildren, Elektra, Mykah, Aurorah, Azalea, Andrew, Skyler and Colby; and his siblings, John Calgey and Karen Calgey. He is also survived by his extended family, and many friends.
