He was predeceased by: his parents, Joshua Evoy and Edna Evoy; his wife Ola Evoy; his brothers, Norman, Charlies, Bob, Paul, George and Richard; and his brothers-in-law, Roddy, Donnie, Teddy and Jim MacRae.
He is survived by: his son Garnet Evoy Jr.; his close friend Rose Knight; his stepson Neil; his pet Lilly; his siblings, Doug (Helen), Shirley (Jim Lambert) and Jim (Rose); and his siblings-in-law, Glenna Clark (Tom), Doris Preece, Darlene Evoy and Charlie Rabb. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
