Douglas Gordon Hunter Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Gordon Hunter of Smiths Falls, Ontario, who passed away on March 24, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jason Hunter and Florence Hunter (Johnson); his siblings, Agnes Fee and James Hunter; and his brothers-in-law, Stanley Brunton (Margaret) and Keith Brunton.

He is survived by: his children, Gordon Hunter, Ian Hunter, Bruce Hunter, Muriel Hunter, Carol Prevost (Dave), Murray Hunter (Olga), Norman Hunter and Tom Hunter; and his siblings-in-law, Pat Fee, Marion Hunter and Irene Brunton. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Donations in memory of Doug may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
