She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Lackey and Beulah Lackey; her brother Barry Lackey; her nephew Ronald Lackey; and her brother-in-law Lindsay Buzzell (Joyce).
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Lowe Bennett, Lori Lowe and Julie Lowe (Jason Gervais); her stepchildren, Andrea Johnson (Gary England) and Lee Johnson (Kelly); her sisters-in-law, June Lackey, Joyce Johnson and Kay Johnson (Claude Raymond); her cousins, Lenora Wilson (Mike) and Sheila Teeple (John); her grandchildren, Bronson, Logan Bennett, Kayla Gervais, Aaron, Baillie Johnson (Brittany), William and Andrew England; her children, Janice Ruwald (David), Karen Mohamed (Mansoor), Brian Lackey (Cathy), David Lackey (Ellie) and Eric Lackey (Hannah); her husband Colin; and also Liz.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private service will be held for the family in the new year.
Those wishing are asked to consider a memorial donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Carleton Place and District Memorial Hospital.
