He was predeceased by: his son Kevin (Susan); his parents, John Hitchcock and Lila Hitchcock; and his brothers, Borden and Earl.

He is survived by: his spouse Gail Hitchcock; his child Bobbi-Jo; his grandchildren, Jamie (Nick) and Zakery (Jessica); and his great grandchildren, Kylynn and Brooklynn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
