He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertram Soto and Evelyn Phyllis Phillips; and his siblings, Joan Jefferies (Jack), Shelagh Skipper (Anthony) and Derek "George" Phillips (Patricia).
He is survived by: his wife Marcia; his children, Stephen Phillips (Karen), Clare Rivard (Dominic), Jane Phillips and Michael Phillips (Chantal); and his grandchildren, Helen, Sarah Phillips, Emma, Gabby and Bella Rivard. He is also survived by his extended family and all of his many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lannin Funeral Home (32 Main St E, Smiths Falls, ON K7A1A2). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Donations to the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation in Barry's memory would be greatly appreciated.
