It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Art Shanks of Smiths Falls, Ontario, who passed away on February 26, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Shanks and Emily Shanks; his wife Velma Margaret Braden; his brother John; his sister-in-law Elaine Shanks; and his daughters, Linda, Jill and Wendy.

He is survived by: his sons, Tim (Charlene), John Paul (Cauleen), Mark and Rob; his grandchildren, Jamie, Casey Shanks, Shannon Lavoie, Jacob Coville and Colin Shanks; and his great grandchildren, Hunter, Henley Shanks, Wesley, Austin Shanks, Aila, Teo Lavoie, Olivia and Payton Coville.

Memorial donations in Art's name may be made to St. Patrick's Home.
