She was predeceased by: her son Danny; her grandson Jacob; her parents, Peter Mitten and Theresa Mitten (Snow); and her siblings, Manuel, Ramon, Lance, Karen and Rodger.

She is survived by: her spouse Ron Thomas; her children, Jane, Wayne, Kim, Andy, Darren, Karen, Michelle, Ronnie Jr. and Becky; her siblings, Elizabeth, Sandra, Gary, Peter, Kathy and Brenda; her siblings-in-law, Ivan, Del, Carol, Elvera and Gloria; and her close friend Rosemond Skye. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

At Winnie's request in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Seneca Longhouse building fund.
