He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Point and Nicolas; his daughter Rhea Skye; his granddaughter Sandra; and his great grandchildren, Toni and Keely.
He is survived by: his wife Vivien Point (Greene); and his children, Valinda Point, Robert Point Jr., Luanne Henry (Jonas Smith) and Shari Powless.
