As Wayne departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Wayne may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Wayne leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Whitby (MacAinsh); his parents, William Whitby and Marjorie Whitby (Roloson); his brother Don Whitby; and his former wife Erma.

He is survived by: his siblings, Ken (Barb Whitby) and Marilyn (George Radmore) of Simcoe; and his sister-in-law Nancy Whitby of Simcoe.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
