He was predeceased by: his wife Sheila Buch; and his son Robert Buch. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan of Kincardine and Jane (Andrew) of Coldwater; his grandchildren, Meghan (Josh), Allison and Heather; his great grandchildren, Georgia, Lilah and Matthew; and his brother Gordon of Nanaimo, BC..
