He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judy; his children, Kelley Smith (Mike), Kim Turvey (Stacey) and Karyn Dickson; his grandchildren, Tayler (Harrison), Hunter, Tara (Jamal), Lucas and Colton; his great grandchildren, Aubrey and Bayzen; and his siblings, Jeannette Dickson, Sandra Barber (late Alan), John Dickson, Harv Dickson (Sandy), Marilyn Brown (Rodger) and Marvin Dickson. He was also cherished by many other relatives and friends.
