He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Ashley and Albert Ashley. He is survived by: his grandson Brady (Heaven); his wife Leona Ashley of Simcoe; his children, Rick Ashley Jr. (Bonnie) of Simcoe, Scott Ashley (Karen) of Simcoe, Heather Lowes (Kevin) of London and David Hall (Stephanie) of Grimsby; his grandchildren, Rick (Kayla) and Forrestt (Justin); his children, Daxton, Aubree, Lennox, Lisa (Brodie), Tyson, Cole, Miken, John, Anderson, Cru (Erin), Alyssa (Joe), Kayla, Austin, Sheyenne and Alexis; his siblings, Marianne Ashley-Anderson (Ross) of Guelph, Larry Ashley (Gail) of Halifax and Keith Ashley (Kay) of Simcoe; and his parents-in-law, Ahneta, Doug, Judy and Jeff. He is also survived by nieces, nephews & extended family.

Those wishing to donate in memory of Rick are asked to consider the Juravinski Cancer Centre or Children's Hospital, London.
