He is survived by: his wife Diana; his children, Daniel Johnston (Beverly) and Linda Johnston; his stepchildren, Darlene Sims (David), Andrea Plato (Rick), Jackie Timperley (Jason), Dale Van Der Kraan, Heidi Vail (Brian) and Melinda Zanchin (Dean); and also Fern. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations to the Mission Church in Frogmore or Samaritan's Purse be considered.
