It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mabel Bernice Hunter of Simcoe, Ontario, born in Brantford, Ontario, who passed away on April 27, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wray H. Hussey and Mabel Hussey; her son Ron Hunter; her siblings, Betty Kensit (Len) and George Hussey (Jean); and her brother-in-law Chic Hunter (Eve).

She is survived by: her daughter Donna Hagey (Henry) of Simcoe; her grandchildren, Louis (Emmanuelle) of Calgary, Mark Hagey (Rebecca) of Calgary, Laura Thompson of Ancaster, Lisa Thompson of Sault Ste and Marie; her great grandchildren, Justine, Samuel Hagey, Edwin and Oliver Hagey; and her sister-in-law Marg Lovell.

Many thanks to the staff at Cedarwood LTC, Simcoe for their care and attention for these past few years, especially during the difficulties of the Covid pandemic.
