She was predeceased by: her husband James Bowyer; and her siblings, Jack (Bertha Bowyer), Max (Edna Bowyer), Ray (Luella Bowyer), Ross (Viva Bowyer), Jim (Jean Coughlin), Gerry McIlroy (Leona) and Gaston Mermuys.
She is survived by: her children, Brant Bowyer (Mariam) of Simcoe, Costa Rica and Lenore Bowyer-Cox (Alan) of Simcoe; her grandchildren, Jason Bowyer of Costa Rica, Adam Cox (Sarah) of Brantford and Aimee Cox of Winnipeg; her great grandchildren, Aiden and Marshall Cox; and her sister-in-law Betty McIlroy. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
