She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Blackburn and Ada Blackburn. She is survived by: her children, Catherine (David), Peter-John (Tara), Erika (Edward) and Christopher; the father of her children John; her brother Barry Blackburn; and her grandchildren, Derk, Margaret and Steven.
