James Rankin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Rankin in Simcoe, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 2, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid James farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For James is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his sister Margaret Clark (late Morley); and his pets, Arthur and Pimmy. He is survived by: his daughters, Ginny Preston (John Josephson) and Laura Czovek (Art); his grandsons, Mitchell (Steph) and Daniel (Jessica); and his wife Barbara Rankin. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
