She was predeceased by: her close friend Tom Lyne; her parents, Peggy Halyk (late Tim Trevena) of Brantford and Bob Halyk (Louise) of Burford; her children, Michelle Wight-Harding (Derrick) of Simcoe, Taylor, Bailey (Danielle Harrington), Jennifer Halyk of Hamilton and Richard Wight (Ashley Lehmann) of Simcoe; her granddaughter Ella; and her brother David Halyk.
She is survived by: her sister Andrea Halyk of Simcoe; and her friend Jack Wight of Port Dover. She is also survived by nieces, nephews & extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jason Smith Funeral Chapel (689 Norfolk St N, Simcoe, ON N3Y3R3).
